The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) in partnership with The Encouragement Foundation (TEF) and with the support of Sunshine Coast Rugby Union (SCRU) are proud to offer the University’s first rugby union scholarships.
These scholarships aim to assist talented rugby union players pursue their studies at USC, and be available for the Sunshine Coast Premier Rugby team, the Sunshine Coast Stingrays, at both Colts (Under 19) and Open levels.
This program will see up to $108,000 invested into scholarships over five years.
The scholarships will be funded via donations from the rugby community. Donations of any amount, large or small, will be collected through The Encouragement Foundation which allows for tax-deductable donations to be made by the community.
This presents an opportunity for the rugby community and the Sunshine Coast business community to invest in the future of young individuals and the game of rugby union on the Sunshine Coast.
